Title: AMVs on the radio show?

I was toying around with the big big cry baby's (atomx) idea of possibly playing amvs on the radio show.. that would of course require a bunch of different things.. I just wanted to get an idea of what people think about it..

Technical issues aside, and assuming that we do make it happen, would people want to have shows playing amvs instead of just songs in between talk breaks?  or like.. do a normal show with music then play an amv on occasion?  We can even do like a featured amv of the week or something...

Hmm...If I had the 1337 internet connection I'd love to see something like it. Especially the AMV of the week thing.

But umma, the streaming of the AMV? Any idea how that's gonna work?

I personally like this idea, if only to play one AMV and name it 'AMV of the week' (hey, you'd even be picking up some of the slack from those Newsletter folks, whatever happened to them?  :-X ) Though I'm interested in how you'd swing this, but if it's not something that'll look like rape when broadcasted, I'm all for it.

I think the "AMV of the week" idea would be really neat. I'd watch it.  :)

I think its worth a shot, Ill be happy to test it when you need people to :)

edit*  about the amv of the week idea. good idea , would have to make sure there were no repeated artists or somthing so everyone can get one in, but having other videos play wouldnt be bad ,then like maybe at the beginning or end of the show announce the amv of the week.  it'd be even better if the other NONamv of the week videos had the same songs as people requested , killin some birds thurr ;)

and i have a few ideas on how that could work. im kinda tinkering around with some settings now since the inhouse streams would be close to what your server would be pushin out to others.  its just up to you whether you want mpeg1 or wmv.  my friends is doing something similar with wmv native in winamp. cause he does vj' shit as well as online broadcasting with it. i  need to get more details from him cause i think thats what koop's tryin to do.

Technical stuff aside, I think it would defenitely be sweet. Whether to just play any vids that you feel or a video of the week type thing.
